The Barrel Spring Toenail Nipper is a heavy-duty toenail clipper which features strong, sharp blades and a smooth spring action to cut thick toenails.

"I haven't used these toe nail cutters as they are for a present for my boyfriend towards his Christmas presents . He already has got a pair but they are years old and he says that he needs new ones now , and that the old ones don't owe him anything as they have been brilliant . He wouldn't have any other kind. Impossible to do up!!

"Slightly bigger & more cumbersome to hold than I expected. The spring has to be removed each time for sterilisation, and as try as I might, I simply cannot do up the restraining clip-it’s a ridiculous design. On previous models the clip was external & no problem. The plus points are that they’re made from stainless steel & they cut well!"

Q&A

The inside hook will not go into the other side hard as I try and I have squeezed so hard my hand is damaged. How on earth do they close ergonomically without having to squeeze and push hard?

I can't re engage my tweezerman nipper. I wonder if it's faulty as the clip can only be pushed up from underneath but I still can't engage it. It was very very difficult to open it & is no use of I can't close it

How do you close the nail cutters so they are safe. Your instructions say close them and then engage the lock. Ha Ha ! quite how does one engage the lock??
Hi Jennifer! Thank you for getting in touch. To close the Barrell Spring Toenail Clipper please squeeze the handles back together and engage locking mechanism by pushing the bar down to hold the two side together. I hope this helps.
