4 steps to achieve flawless eyelash curls

We’re all unique, and that means we all have eye shapes that are distinctive to us. Generally, we all fit somewhere between having round-shaped, almond-shaped or deep-set eyes, and whilst most eyelash curlers try to be one-size-fits-all, we’ve crafted eyelash tools to suit different eye shapes. STEP 1 - PREP YOUR LASHES

For best results:

  • Start with clean lashes: Remove any old mascara or oils with a gentle eye makeup remover.

STEP 2 - Use the right curler

Use specialised curlers to ensure you get the best results for your unique eye shape. Using the correct technique will give you the best, most natural-looking curls:

  • Begin at the base of your lashes: Hold the curler at the root of your lashes, gently squeeze and hold for 5-10 seconds.
  • Move to the middle: Release and then reapply the curler midway up the lash to create a natural curve.
  • Finish at the tip: For an extra lift, give the lashes a final curl at the ends.

STEP 3 -  Apply mascara

Precisely guide mascara application to prevent smudges with the Lash Guard & Comb. 

  • Top Lashes: Position your eye aligned with the tool opening. Apply mascara to top lashes by holding the top edge of the opening against the top eye lid and lash line.
  • Bottom Lash Line: Position the bottom edge of opening aligned against lower lash line to apply mascara to lower lashes

STEP 4 - Remove any excess

For truly flawless lashes:

  • Use Tweezerman’s Eyelash Comb to separate and define your lashes. This step removes any clumps and ensures your lashes stay fanned out and voluminous.
  • Gently run the comb through your lashes, starting from the root and combing through to the tips.

5 Mistakes you are making during your lash routine

1. YOU ARE CURLING YOUR LASHES AFTER APPLYING MASCARA

Apply mascara after curling your lashes to ensure your curler won’t stick to your lashes in the curling process, your mascara will also be better defined.

2. YOU ARE USING A DIRTY CURLER

Your curler goes near your eye so cleaning it with an alcohol wipe after every use is important in order to protect your eyes from unnecessary bacteria.

3. YOU ARE PINCHING YOUR SKIN WHILE CURLING YOUR LASHES

You are likely using a curler that doesn’t properly fit your eye shape. The proper curler will prevent pinching and also ensure every lash fits into the curler so no lash goes uncurled.

4. YOU ARE APPLYING TOO MUCH PRESSURE TO YOUR LASHES

Make sure to lightly squeeze the curler handles to create a long-lasting curl. Release the handles prior to removing lashes to ensure that you won’t pull or tug your lashes.
